Nestled in the heart of Los Angeles’ bustling Century City neighborhood, Clementine shines as a charming American restaurant where quality and creativity meet in every bite. From early mornings to relaxed afternoons, this inviting spot expertly blends comforting classics with inventive touches, creating a menu that feels both familiar and delightfully fresh.
The culinary journey at Clementine is a true celebration of flavors and thoughtful craftsmanship. Start your day with their perfectly baked pastries, like the irresistibly tender Pear and Chocolate Scone — a luscious harmony of sweet fruit and rich chocolate that pairs beautifully with their smooth, robust lattes. Or indulge in the heavenly aroma of a Cinnamon Bun or the slightly crisped edges of their Chocolate Chip Cookies, each bite striking the ideal balance between soft chewiness and gentle crunch. Fans of savory will appreciate standouts such as the hearty Patty Melt or the nostalgic yet elevated Sloppy Joe, both crafted with fresh ingredients that elevate these American favorites.
For lunch or light dinners, Clementine’s selection of garden salads and sandwiches offers vibrant, healthful options. The Greek Salad Our Way features crisp vegetables complemented by tangy feta, while the Clementine Chicken Salad Sandwich is a tender, flavorful choice that delights the palate. Their Edamame & Wild King Salmon with Scallions and Fresh Herbs is a refined dish that showcases a thoughtful blend of textures and aromas — the salmon is poached to perfection, subtly infused with citrus zest and fresh herbs, making it a refreshing yet satisfying option. If you’re craving something comforting but refined, the Spaghetti Pie, with its ricotta and vegetable medley baked into a unique spaghetti crust, is pure culinary artistry worth savoring.
The dining experience at Clementine is warm and unpretentious. While the indoor seating remains limited, the cozy outdoor sidewalk tables create a quaint ambiance perfect for people-watching or enjoying a casual meeting over a freshly brewed double espresso or a glass of their refreshing homemade lemonade. Many patrons appreciate the restaurant’s attention to detail, with staff who often take the extra time to ensure every order is precise and complete, exemplifying genuine care in customer service.
Adding to its appeal, Clementine is also known for their exceptional house-made provisions that you can take home — from spiced nuts that balance sweetness and spice flawlessly, to their celebrated granola and unique dips that pair seamlessly with fresh crostinis. Their heat-at-home offerings are a godsend for busy days, featuring dishes like grilled citrus-marinated chicken breast and moist turkey meatballs in roasted tomato sauce, ready to be enjoyed with minimal fuss yet maximum flavor.
Customer testimonials underscore Clementine’s reputation as a reliable neighborhood gem. From Ri Salomon’s praise for the creative Passover dinner options and attentive service, to Guillaume Bourcy’s delight in the consistently well-made coffee and freshly baked pastries enjoyed on their charming terrace, visitors leave feeling satisfied and eager to return. Emily’s enthusiastic endorsement of the perfectly textured cookies — soft, chewy, and bursting with festive warmth — highlights the bakery’s ability to evoke both nostalgia and delight with every treat. Meanwhile, Jake Cohen’s admiration for the seasonal Corn Muffin, described as one of the “best he’s ever had,” captures the essence of Clementine’s commitment to quality and seasonal inspiration.
In essence, Clementine is far more than a typical American eatery; it’s an experience that offers heartfelt, thoughtfully prepared food in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re swinging by for a quick coffee and scone, grabbing a satisfying salad for lunch, or picking up a heat-at-home meal after a busy day, Clementine promises a comforting taste of home with an elevated culinary spirit.
Passover dinner was great. Easy to order online and when I picked up they took time to review every item with me to make sure nothing was forgotten Clementine Haroset - very creative. Matzo Crackers [bag of 6] - the only item that was a bit off - it was stale. Toasted it was edible but not great Cucumber Salad Sizes Chopped Roasted Beets Chopped Beets Sizes Poached Wild King Salmon | 5oz Roasted Fingerling Potatoes Honey-Glazed Carrots with Prunes - these were unexpectedly amazing!
A great place in Century City for coffee and pastries. I had the chance to discover this spot while waiting for a car repair at a local tire shop. The coffee is consistently well made and the pastries are fresh and tasty — perfect for a quick breakfast or afternoon break. I really liked their chocolate-pear scone. What makes it even better is the small terrasse just off Santa Monica Boulevard, a cozy place to sit outside and watch the city go by. A neighborhood gem that feels both relaxed and refined
Very good food but we always take out. Limited seating indoor but with outdoor sidewalk tables. Their specials change daily but consistent standards too. Be sure to check out their heat-at-home options b/c they offer a wide variety of soups and entrees ready to go
One of my regulars brought these cookies in for us and we were hooked. These are THE perfect cookies. Not too soft, slight crunch, not too thick or too thin. Just... perfect. For my birthday, I brought in a box with a few different options. The Molasses Crinkle cookies were everything I expected and more. They were soft, chewy, and flavorful. They reminded me of Christmas because of the gingerbread similarities. The Butterscotch Brownies were a little dry and aren't something I'd get again.
Just say Corn Muffin and it brings the delicious Corn Muffin at Clementine which is seasonally done with citrus or berry. It is one of the best ones I've ever had. I also like their sandwiches and salads. A great neighborhood bakery/restaurant. Highly recommend it!
Yummy food with a friendly neighborhood vibe! Turkey sandwich is bomb and all their bake goods. Get the chocolate chip cookie! Fire
A warm and charming spot, perfect for grabbing brunch before heading to Westfield Century City. The menu offers a great variety, and the cozy, cute interior adds to the experience. I visited on New Year’s, and the atmosphere was so heartwarming—everyone was exchanging cheerful New Year’s greetings. The food was delicious, and I even had a fun experience where people at the neighboring table offered to take photos for each other. It was such a delightful and memorable visit. Highly recommend!
